I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this - such a frustrating situation. You're right, whenever you're dealing with human beings, there is the possibility of disappointment. I guess this is another one of those cases where, as a sponsor, you are forced to trust God, that He has a plan for this young lady, and that your investment has gotten her to this point just as He planned. She may be on the path to do amazing things, with the help and support you've already given her.
