I ran cross country in high school for the same reason - to get over my fear of stumbling. I had some twisted ankles...

our Turkey Trots here are ALWAYS huge!! I have not done one in a while, as they're usually during brunch at my sisters, but they're always fun. I love that yours took food donation as entry fee - very cool. sounds like a perfect weekend - I love when the music gets loud (we had the karaoke machine going, and Jason left the room too...) ;)

I definitely celebrate Birthday Week around here ;)

the Motley Crue concert ON my birthday was a blast this year... other favorites include Elton John + Billy Joel, Leonard Cohen, Rush, Dolly Parton (yep!), Willie Nelson... oh I could go on and on...

glad you had a great weekend and an awesome time at the concert - I would LOVE to see that show!
