My biggest What If question is always, What if I can't... handle the kids? ...take care of the house? ... get everything done? ...be a good friend? ...handle that knock on the door? I am a person that lives with a lot on my plate. I feel myself begin to feel the immense pressure I've put on myself to do it all, and until I surrender it all back to God, I remain crushed under the burden of it all.

The whole story of Peter has always flustered me. How could he be the one most outspoken and impetuous and yet, seemingly, be the one with the most faith? He was the only one who stepped out of the boat, the only one who recognized Jesus as the Christ, and with the same mouth denied Him. I have a lot to learn from this very imperfect man, Peter. And I am blessed by the realization that God's Grace is so much bigger than anything I could fail at or become.
