The chair is only circumstantial evidence and no matter what "they" say, no jury would convict on that alone! The execution of the crime was perfect and your analysis throughly entertaining. ;) Those must've been some good cookies!
Yay! I'd send him a cupcake but it might be pretty smushy and gross by the time it got there! (And I'm hoping he hid his head in your chest not your cheese - that'd be kinda messy... ;) )
Oh my gosh, Allie! I'm so sorry that you had such an awful bout with that "thing" that's going around!! Yay for the grandparents taking the kids, though. Glad to see you have written about it though. It must be better now. (I had a bout of it that was just 24 hours and it was horrible- but no ER for me, thank goodness!) Hurry up Spring!!
Have you had him tested for absence seizures? I'm not sure if you know our story but my son's sleeplessness as a small child was related to the fact that he had seizures in his sleep. He never had a seizure that was obvious or involved the "jerking" commonly associated with epilepsy. His are isolated to during the second stage of his sleep. That Cam is waking and unable to express what happened, it makes me think of the things we went through. For some reason, I think Cam has already been evaluated but if not, I would urge you to get this. Sending you big hugs as you figure it out. xo
Sometimes, we just can't connect or get through to others the issues we face. Luckily, there is always someone somewhere connected by the internet, who may say, "I get it." (((Hugs)))
Looks and sounds like lots of fun! SH and Cam are adorable!!
Wow! That is really great! Tay was the opposite. He could not write nearly as well as the other students when he had to sign in on the easel. Things have improved greatly after just another year, though and his handwriting is great. Glad this is something that Cam does well. It's a great thing to have that kind of skill with little hands. :)
I know exactly how you feel given Toots brief sojourn with the public school system. We have been involved in a fight with our school district since I pulled him on the overmedication issue and put him in private Christian school. We are lucky in a way because as moms go, we know best what our children need and can make up for the losses to some degree. The social outlet- which is so, so important, is the major missing component when we give up on the school system. But eventually, we can find a way to get them that aspect too. Maybe not in a traditional sense, but get it nonetheless. I think you have done as much as you can and certainly don't blame you ever for doing what is most important and that is getting Cam what he needs where you can get it. It's not so much giving up as recognizing where you can get what he needs. xo
Hope you had a lovely holiday! You are so talented - I see where Miss SH gets her talents! Hope things are well with Cam. Thinking of you all. xo
