I am green with envy. Those are beautiful ornaments and even more meaningful because grandma made them. My grandma crocheted and sewed. I still have the crocheted things but the sewn ones wore out long ago. Merry Christmas.

I agree with you. Christmas started in Oct. this year. Unbelievable. In the old days, when I was a kid, all stores were closed on Thanksgiving Day. As I recall, only a few restaurants were open. Now it's all about the money--the bottom line. And you know that the Love of money is the root of all evil. If the merchants weren't in a love affair with the almighty dollar, things would be like of old.

Amy, you might want another opinion. I had to take drugs for hormonal imbalance and I felt great, my usual self returned. Perhaps something isn't right with the meds the dr. gave you. You should feel better, not worse. In my own case, the crabby, impossible woman to live with went away and I came back to be my usual jolly self. Don't settle for where you are, thinking you'll get used to it. Demand answers from your doc.

God bless pantyhose. I grew up in the era and girdles and nylons with lines up the back that were nearly impossible to keep straight. How we wrestled with those seams to keep them from twirling around our legs. I don't know anyone who wasn't thrilled to toss out the girdle and say hello to pantyhose. Seemless yet. I could only imagine how earlier citizens had oohed and aahed over sliced bread. Some changes are just miraculous. And yes, I do have a drawer with pantyhose in it. Control top. I still think legs look better in hose. But then that might just be me....

Hi Amy, I also have a blog that my friends and family don't know about. It's my Widow blog. I wanted to be able to write my feelings without having those close to me "correct" me for being so honest. I know my kids would be on my case. So I completely understand why you started a different blog. I also know it's hard to find someone to listen to me vent. Or cry. People don't like dealing with it. I hear everything you're saying. I understand. Blessings, Sandy
