The thought of Him watching over me has brought me much comfort this past year. And it also comforted me to know the same God watching over me was also watching over my husband while He was on the other side of the world, and now my son who is now on the other side of the world.

Maybe it's because I'm a relatively new Christian but I've never considered that as women it shouldn't be important for us to know God. For all the reasons you've shared, all I want is to know Him better. I actually just had a conversation with my Pastor about this. I quizzed him about what plans they may have to encourage everyone to spend more time in God's Word. For the most part I shared my desire to know Him better. There is actually this dream of mine to go to seminary school but... :) Thank you for this wonderful encouragement to keep wanting to know Him better. Blessings.

I read the book Let Hope In by Pete Wilson recently and in it he enlightened me to how the wonderful thing about the two words "But God" are that good news always follows. It's so true.
