The girls love being able to do something kind for someone, we value kindness very highly in our house :)

Great reasons to be cheerful. We don't have much money (and we'd love some extra to get a new bathroom!!) but we are happy :)

I like the idea of planning blog posts a month in advance. I'm going to check out the Wunderlist app!

When Aiden (16) did his SATS, they didn't really make an issue of it. They did a bit of work in school, he did the test, got the results (he was well above national average as well) and then they were forgotten about. It seems much more pressure is put on the kids today. Kaycee (10) has been going on and on about SATS for weeks, even attending a 4 day Easter school during the Easter holidays to help them prepare for SATS. They did fun things every afternoon after working in the morning, like bowling and a trip to the cinema but it still seems like an awful lot of pressure for her.

I wish I could say that my girls were getting on better but they're actually driving me insane with their arguing! I keep telling myself I'll look back on these with fondness.
I can't imagine it at the moment but I know I will!
Glad everything went ok at the doctors :) xx

I don't have a teenage girl yet, just a teenage son and he'd rather go to his dad's than come on holiday with us!
