Interesting experiment there with the oven! 200C sounds way too high, it doesn't surprise me that they burned :/ I think having the oven on the lowest setting - much like making meringue, so that the petals dry out. Look forward to seeing how you use them :)

My best advice for learning how to use your camera, is just keep playing with it! Try different settings, see what happens, if it doesn't work, try another setting! Practise makes perfect and all that! x
