It's great to see your new blog Catie - I love it. I know that you will have plenty of other opportunities to speak up and it is important that when you do, you feel that you are able to to do it well and to make a difference. You made the right call on this occasion as I know you always do. Every time your child makes a transition to another educational setting it'll need a more consideration I'm sure. I know just how you feel. My anxiety levels can hit the roof sometimes!! Mobile phones are great - but what if they don't take them or you ring it and they don't answer?!! I can relate to every word of this great post! :)
