I too, have felt this. I went to Cedarville.

Funny that the main highlights I remember from 11+ years ago is the Bootylicious song and screaming "Sex is great!" (Full disclosure - since I was not allowed to listen to secular music, I only realized what the song was when one of my public school youth group friends pointed it out.) The whole experience was awful and we all got a silver ring with scripture engraved on it and had to make a public promise. I think it turned my hand green...

This is simply fantastic and should be a series of articles! Having grown up in a very similar household, I often wonder how on earth we ended up as relatively normal human beings.

Did you ever attend the Silver Ring Thing? The two-hour live event where they play "bootylicious" really loud in a gym, have everyone scream "Sex is Great!!........in the confines of marriage" and describe how condoms aren't safe at all and basically mesh through which ones seed with flow?? Please tell me someone else attended this.
