If it's the Arles where van Gogh lived and worked, it actually is in south of France, in Provence :)

Great idea on how to find inspiration for an interior! I wouldn't normally think that the colours blue, red and yellow go together, but van Gogh makes it happen :)

What does the (Amsterdam) in parenthesis mean after "...Arles" ? Cause I think the painting was actually painted when van Gogh was living in Arles, in the south of France.
