Yeah, probably. Still seems an odd thing to say, though, as if he'd known me for a long time.
'And Brandon, that statement automatically loses you ANY credibility you had left. Now you shall either be known as A: an ignorant troll, B: an self-righteous troll, or C: just plain ignorant. '
Is there an 'all of the above'?

I don't know what you mean by 'original records'. No doubt there is much of archaeological value to be found in Israel, but that doesn't confer any magical authority on theologians there, especially if their theology is not based on the latest archaeological developments.
'And, your last comment about us not being Christians since we're not Jewish or Israeli is A: irrelevant and B: unfounded.'
It might seem that way if you don't understand it, which evidently, you don't, based on the way you responded to it. What I was trying to say is this:
If people have theological authority simply on account of being in Israel, and most people in Israel are Jewish, then it would stand to reason that on account of their theological authority, we ought to be Jewish too.

I can't disagree, by and large, but I would suggest the following caveats, which I hope you'd agree with:
1. This does not apply to jurisdictions outside the US where drinking ages are lower, higher, or do not exist.
2. This does not apply at home, with parental permission, where US law makes an exception.
