From a fellow hunter (and blogger), don't beat yourself up too much, you know we all do it. Getting off the block and re-learning our class is something many hunters have been doing since WotLK and the daily heroic (aka Speedfest). The "auto-target" demon has gotten me as well, having my last serpent sting fire off to a target unintended after the previous target was unkindly dispateched by a kill-stealing rogue.
