Oregon isn't mentioned here. Today it has been two months have been waiting for a return, but it is my understanding that an average of 5-6 months will be normal this year. Please write to your State Representative, and the Director of your Department of Revenue to object to the lack of efficiency and productivity. And remember the Representatives that respond, when it comes time to cast your vote in the next election.

Mend those broken strings! I love this post. I too had to repair a relationship with my daughter, because I made mistakes when she was younger. It would have saved both of us a lot of heartache if I had just followed God's right instruction from the beginning! Also, we need to mend broken strings with siblings. Drawing closer to my brother and sisters has been a great joy to me, as I enter my senior years.

I really enjoy your instruction, and pass it along to my adult daughters. Thank you for your work for Jesus!

Very sweet post, especially so near to Mother's Day. This is going into my prayer journal, too!

Young women today seem to Be very confused about modesty. When they don't have godly instruction, their only examples are Hollywood and Victoria's Secret. When I was working outside the home, I can't tell you the number of times that female employees wore cleavage baring clothes to a professional office. It was cringe-worthy. Of course, the incidents of "sexual harassment" increased by the year. So destructive. Thank you for your instruction on this very critical topic.

Terrific topic, and great suggestions. I'm very introverted, so it is hard for me to really talk with strangers about Jesus, I'm ashamed to admit. Sigh. But I do try to bring up the subject of my crafts that I prepare for Sunday school lessons. That seems to be a safe opener for me, and can lead to some discussion. At the grocery store I mention that I am picking up snacks for the Sunday school kids. It's not enough I know. I need to do more.

As always, right on target, Lori! I was once that woman trying to obtain it all. At one point I was even the President of the "Federal Women's Program", a group determined to gain equality with men in the workplace. So sad. I lost so much. My family and husband felt that they were a lower priority in my life, and after twenty years, my husband left me. He eventually went on to marry a stay at home mom whose priorities were in the correct order: God, Husband, Children. Working Women gain nothing in the workplace, and lose everything at home. It's devastating to the entire family, for generations.

Very good guidance. I used to view my own self-value by the things I owned. The big house, the sports car, the jewelry......but once I renewed my faith and truly understood what God wanted from me and FOR me, I relocated, revised, renewed, and reclaimed the promises of our Heavenly Father. I have never been happier or more at peace. The perfect peace that only Jesus can provide.
