Ugh.....not enough time in a day!!! I feel terrible that I've not written a thing yet!!!!
Thanks so much for the kind words, Sanna! And I would LOVE to visit Finland some day!!!!
Hi JoAnn! I hope you and your daughter had a much more rewarding graduation day than I did! Greenland! Wow! My Daughter is in Italy at Aviano. Much better placement for our girls then, say, Minot or Keesler! She hates the base and her job but is enjoying some travel in Italy on her time off. We'll be visiting her this summer! It's been a big adjustment not having her around....all the holidays and special times over the past year without her hurts.....but such is the life of "military" parents.
Let me know how your day went! And my heart goes out to you-hope you fare well with your girl being so far away! It gets better with time.....
Yup! The world is wide open....and there's PINTEREST!!!!! It IS nice to have some die hard traditions deeply rooted(the meaningful/powerful ones we grew up with-no one can take that from you) but always leaving room for some new ones. Happy New Year to you, BTW. No more firework sledding party up here, though. Now THERE'S a tradition gone that I am truly bummed about......
Thanks for the info, I'll give it a lookie! If you think that your daughter has ADD and you're interested in identifying where her needs are and how family/school/society can assist in helping her with through her trouble areas, I HIGHLY recommend that you get extensive testing done with an expert. A 15 question questionnaire administered by your physician doesn't cut it!!! And it's actually kinda fun!
Exactly! Is was so easy to get caught up in the how do I get more hits on my blog?? thing! So far removed from my original intentions! It's very freeing to be back to basics!
