Oh my goodness, this looks amazing - I can't believe it's no bake! Might have to make this with Boo at the weekend, although I'm not sure I can resist eating it all!

Love the idea of keeping a bag in the car for spontaneous fun - I went to Whitby lots as a child as like you never knew about the pool!

When we had a bigger family, I swore by having an extra freezer, like you say it's perfect for those bargain buys and batch cooking...

This is great - I really need to start writing our meals out for the week, I have them in my head but then I either forget them or get persuaded by a certain 5 year old to go off plan!

I completely agree that convenience is sometimes worth paying for - as it's just me and Boo, I can do a weekly shop for as little as £35-£40 but if I've got a lot of freelance projects on then I cook less from scratch and rely more on convenience; like you say it's finding a balance that works for you.
