I love this! Thank you for sharing. I am not a crafty homeschooler at all. That is the biggest area I feel "imperfect" in. Our recaps don't have those messy things like "some" do. But, that is okay. This is our homeschool and I am doing it the best I can. Great post!

Great post! I think the wars stem from people's own problem with contentment and questioning whether or not they are truly happy with their decision. It all needs to end, and we need to appreciate the fact that we are ALL different, have different values, different needs, and different families. God created us that way. Could you imagine how mundane the world would be if everyone made the same choices?

Oh, I loved this post Rosalind. I think that we often times do everything you stated here. We can't say no. We need to learn to say yes to the things that really matter! Great post :)

Yes! Both things you listed keep me from commenting on blogs. I use askimet only, then have it set up where I have to approve a comment the first time a user comments. After that, I don't have to anymore cause they are deemed "safe".

Our homeschool group has a NOT back to school day picnic on the first day of public school. It is our favorite tradition :) Great post and hope you have a great school year!
