Glad it's not just me who skips books to review! I don't usually review classics -- what can you say about a book with so many opinions attached to it? Thanks for your thoughts on The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer especially!

Thanks for the comment on my blog -- I'm now following you as a result! I love this post. ♥ It looks like a lot of fun! I'm pretty good with names, but this would be a great idea for a post since this summer's been kind of slump-y.

I remember the Grisha trilogy pretty well! Alina, Mal, Nikolai, Zoya, Genya, and the Darkling. (Aleksander was his real name, I think?) There's also Rachel and Olivia in Wolves of Mercy Falls... and Jack! Isabel's brother. Blue's mom in The Raven Cycle is Maura, and then there's Calla and Persephone. And the Gray Man. And Kavinsky.

Wow -- that's LOADS of fun! Thanks for the awesome post!

I LOVE this post! ♥ It's so wonderful to see that Coralie's still taking up space in the writing part of your brain, too. I'd love to see a post about the love interests as well!

ELY. ♥ This is the nicest thing ever, and it totally made my week! Thank you for including me in this list! Also holy cow, how has it been four or five years since we met?!

Maggie Stiefvater! J.K. Rowling! ♥ So many wonderful names on this list. I've actually never read any Maureen Johnson before, but I'm super eager to eventually pick up The Name of the Star. It sounds right up my alley!

Great post, Ely!

Thanks so much for linking to my blog! ♥ And thank you for adding on this post! I completely agree with you -- TBR shame is one I suffer from probably even more than just general book shame. Bottom line, people should read what they want to read, even if that means putting one book ahead of another in the pile. Go you for spreading this message!

I have this sitting on my shelf, and I have to admit, it intimidates me a little bit too. But your review was so positive I'll have to pick it up soon!

Great post, Ely! (And GOOD LUCK on your overseas adventures!) ♥

I LOVE this post, Ely! A friend of mine was diagnosed with Type One diabetes when we were seventeen, and both of you have this amazing attitude toward it. You impress and astonish me every day. ♥ And as someone who doesn't have diabetes, this type of post is an eye-opener, too! Please continue on -- I'm really looking forward to your next post!

LOOK AT ALL OF THESE BOOKS. ♥ I'm going to be watching and waiting for reviews on quite a few of these! Especially Unspoken and Mayhem. And this reminded me that I want to get around to Half Bad, too!

Also jealous that you're going to see Patrick Ness, but no big. Great post, Ely!

Confession: I've only read the second Princess Diaries book. (Don't ask me why, because I'm not entirely sure.) I really need to jump aboard that train! But YES, PLEASE READ CRESS. PLEASE. ♥
