The thing is, Type 1 diabetes is the JUVENILE onset type. It is possible to get it in adulthood, but quite rare. I don't understand this article's timeline but she must have been in her 30s at least. I mean, nor does type 1 diabetes typically force one into medical retirement (?????), so what am I saying, that counter top looks great with that chandelier.

I don't think I realized they DID become a series about rich kids solving mysteries. I just remember the fridge river and romantic trash. Not sure if I am happy or disappointed to learn I missed a whole second half here.

I remember reading that and getting SO MAD. Here I was, a bright tween, throwing away the prime of my life enjoying his books out of the goodness of my heart when in actual fact he was just cravenly following a formula and didn't give a damn about what he was creating. And by he I mean his wife. That was really the beginning of the end for me as a fantasy fan. (In retrospect, I am happy that happened for me around 14 instead of dragging it out too much longer.)
