always a tough choice between thorntons and cadburys - Thornton's often make better gifts but cadbury is cadbury! With the two links, the cadbury's one certainly looks great value and lots of fun for the kids.

I've had the same problem in the past with them collapsing - i think it is just sooo tricky knowing the exact right amount of time to leave them in the oven. Still in my book it's about the taste - if they taste good enough for everyone to eat them then you've done a fab job. I think they actually look great too.

you're so lucky to have a good apple tree - ours has been a disaster this year - not a single good apple. I have done the 'just in the nick of time' thing this week too - some weeks are just like that aren't they! I have to say your steamed puddings look like the nicest steamed puddings i've ever seen and i adore pecans. I've never thought i could be bothered with the 'steaming' part but seeing these makes me tempted to try! #gbbobloggers2017
