Disclaimer: I am not a serial killer, or even a one-hit wonder murderer. I HAVE COMMITTED NO MURDERS OF ANY KIND. My kid (who might still turn out to be a serial killer) found a deer jawbone in the fenced-in yard (how did it get there?) with the teeth still in it (the teeth come out and fit back in like a satisfying little 3D puzzle; isn't that horrifying for some reason?) and we soaked it in bleach for a LONG TIME before I assented to his keeping it in his room. On his windowsill. Where it remains to this day.

Life is a mystery, full of questions.
