Just to make my point clear, I have never complained about the content of the list as "too American", I was referring more to the titles which sometimes mislead some of us non US citizens, and make the list seem like it´s universal when most of the times they are not.

Drop it, I´ve tried (for years now) to make Jamie more considerate and conscious about the titles of these lists, either he never reads comments anymore or he doesn´t give a shit about it.
I recommend you to focus on the good material (you´ll find plenty on this site), and forget about the megalomania and short sights of some people.

Please mention one "classic" which is written sloppily, I can´t wait to know which authors you consider classic.
Have you ever heard of terms such as bidimensional characters, common places, pretentiousness? Because all that applies to Dan Brown´s lousy work, I had the courage to read the whole Angels and Demons, I only endured it because I needed to know if it wasn´t a truly sophisticated joke, it wasn´t.
That´s how bad it was, regardless of how many books he sells he is bad, very bad, believe me.
