Don't give up! You should put them in your shop and include them as holiday decorations. You would be surprised how many people (like myself) enjoy celebrating the holidays without having to follow the traditional Christmas/winter colors. They are too gorgeous to be sitting at the bottom of your fabric pile!!

What does dipping it in porcelain do? Do you essentially lose the original piece in the firing process?

WOW! Amazing story! I looked at the pic quickly before actually reading the story. As I read, I completely forgot about the pic and became engrossed in the story. I knew it would have some form of tragic ending, but WOW! As I finished reading the last line, my eyes fell on the photo and smiled. It was just a sweet ending.
