I miss you!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait! Well, I have to, but you know, begrudgingly. ;) Can't wait to see what you're up to! I miss your wit and words!
Duuuuuuuude! I miss you! When oh when are you coming back? I neeeeeed Coffee STAT! :D
Seriously, though - hope you're OK! You are missed big time. I need my Leslie fix! :)
Oh yay!!!! I look forward to your glorious return! :)
I need a shot of coffee, STAT! :) Seriously, though, I can't wait until you're back. I need my mojo, and apparently that lies with you and your prompts. ;) Hope you've had a wonderful summer!!
I always always always miss you during the summer months. But am a bit envious about your summer plans - I mean, sure, we're twinsies and all, but you get to do more of the great outdoors for longer periods of time than I do. I really should make the hubby take some of his mega stored up vacation time, since his summer break starts the last two weeks of the kids' summer break - it's wonky, I tellya! I wish his break was during the kids' so we'd be able to do so much more - plus, he'll be hovering and interrupting once the kids go back to school, since his break doesn't end until the end of September. I better start making a 'Honey Do' list *now*. ;)
OK, back to you - I LOVE your summer plans! What I'm really looking forward to most is all the pictures you'll surely capture, as well as filling us in on all the fun when you get back! :)
Seems things are a bit wonky this morning! That being said, I'm doing a link-and-dash - at least until this afternoon. Gotta drive the kids to their doc appts this morning, so as soon as I return, I'll read with relish and post another legit comment then! ;) But at least you know someone was here and loves you...heh!!
Coffee is absolutely a necessity. One of the reasons I invested in an awesome camping coffee pot that runs off those little green canisters of propane - I could use it during a power outage, too. ;) And I LOVE that bird bath!! Way too cool! Love the 'shock' of blue in your garden - and I could sit on your back deck and gaze upon that every weekend, too. And of course bonfires are a must! And getting out into the fresh air (provided, of course, that it's not raining...heh!) so yeah, camping and bonfires are definitely a 'must do' on weekends during the summer months. :)
What's funny is not only are you and I a lot alike in not liking to toot our own horn, but we apparently keep good company, too. ;) You are a phenomenal writer - I devour anything you put out there, so hopefully you'll end up publishing a book (if that's what you want to do). But I want to be the first one in line for an autographed copy, m'kay? :)
I'm a total call screener, too - and like Nicole, if it's 'important', or someone I know, I've added them to the phone book on my phone, so their name pops up with Caller I.D. I have, however, answered a 'local' number because the school uses a switchboard sometimes, so just in case it's the school calling, I'll answer, because Little Dude has fallen off the monkey bars or run into a brick wall a few times too many. ;) I have an option with my Panasonic phone, though, to block future calls from those illegitimate ones...which I've done many times - then the next time they call, the phone will only ring once, then they get a fast busy signal. Booyah! :)
WooHoo! You survived! ;) I bet you had a great time, too.
You have the same taste as me in dreaming of the 'perfect' backyard - I so badly want a fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and a jacuzzi... I might be able to wrangle a mini outdoor kitchen and jacuzzi, but we don't get to have a firepit here since we're inside the tiny city limits, so it's not allowed. I know, right?! We never thought to include that in our wishlist for a new house - but I can't complain, because I love the house and love the tiny town! :) So I'll just have to make do and create the backyard of my dreams eventually. Of course I'll end up planting grapevines and fruit trees, since my winemaking is a priority...heh!
