Grand Brony Gala in Tampa, FL! There's gonna be a wedding! And I wonder what play they'll do for the Gala this year. This year we're getting the VIP pass so we can actually sit at a table this time. I can't wait! :)

Huh? What? I hope you don't think I forced people or something. Cuz that's not (or wasn't) my intention. My friend came to like it on her own. I used convert in more of a joking way, really (that's why I put the winking face). I'm just happy to have at least one person in real life to share this wonderful show with. She could've easily just went "meh" and left it alone, but now her room is full of pony plushies and everything. :)

Reposting, since my comment seems to have disappeared:

I remember first watching this in early 2012. I think what drew me in for sure was how the Elements of Harmony reminded me of the Crests from Digimon. That was cool.

I do know that the whole lesbian thing never even crossed my mind when I first saw Rainbow Dash. I didn't even know about that until I found that article. There were probably comments about it on the YouTube videos, but I figured it was normal for tomboyish characters as annoying as it is). Because I was recently watching some episodes of Arthur before getting into ponies, and a lot people kept calling Francine similar names. So yeah. All I saw was a cool pony who liked to have fun. She wasn't my favorite yet, but I did like her. I don't believe she's a lesbian, though.

I think Fluttershy and Twilight drew me in, at first. Fluttershy because she's shy like I am. And Twilight because she was voiced by Tara Strong and she was the first character I was exposed to. Then it was just Fluttershy, and then Rainbow quickly became tied with her as favorite. A part of me felt obligated to keep Fluttershy as my top favorite because she was a lot like me, but I still found Rainbow the most interesting. Eventually I said "screw it", Dash is my favorite!

Later, I was able to convert my friend. Took awhile because she preferred the original MLP movie, but she was intrigued by my Desktop Ponies on my computer, and I had watched a couple of episodes in front of her while she was playing a video game. Eventually she was hooked. I'm happy to have converted at least on friend so I would have someone to enjoy it with. Now we go to conventions together. Yay. Now if I could just convert my younger brother. ;)

I can't wait to try those out on Dash when I get her.

Dash always has style. She does like to look good after all, and she loves to be best. Best Dressed Pony for sure. Sorry Rares.

I like that she's a nice balance between tomboyish and feminine. Like, girls can be tomboyish with a girly side, or vice versa. One minute she's doing stunts and roughing it up, and the next she's all dressed up nice and pretty. She's just awesome like that. :)

It'd be kinda funny (and cute) if deep down she had a bit of G3 Rainbow Dash in her.

These songs are just so beautiful. :)

No, I haven't heard it, but it sounds good though. Right now, my favorite version is the one sung by Josh Groban. He's done other Christmas songs, too. He is such a good singer. I also love Clay Aiken's version.

That's weird. I've never heard of anyone thinking He's still a baby.

Umm, yes, of course, I know that. What Christian doesn't know that? It's just a phrase mostly used in the South. Nothing wrong with it. :/

Oh dear Baby Jesus! That gave me chills! Those are my favorite types of Christmas songs. Jingle Bells is cool and all, but it'll never stand up to songs like "O Holy Night" and "What Child is This?" Oh, man. It's funny cuz I was just listening to some of these songs a day or so ago and wondering how they would sound by any of the VAs (too bad Ashleigh Ball wasn't there, she and her band did "Silent Night" and it was amazing!). And I just love, love, LOVED how it ended with my favorite Christmas song, "O Holy Night". (If it had had "The Little Drummer Boy" or "Mary, Did Your Know?", it would've been even more perfect, but it was still awesome!) That was just beautiful! My eyes started getting foggy toward the end. Just...wow. *applauds* :D
