You are too much. Happy Birthday! I love your "outside my own little life" way of thinking.

Interesting video! I was just thinking the whole time: God called Eve the "helpmeet." Men need help. :) I like being needed.

My Mess...His Success is all about God's grace to our family. I share book reviews for both children and adults and write about the lessons God teaches our family through everyday faith. The blog has a laundry theme because well, with 7 kiddos, there is a lot of relation between life and dirty clothes. :) We have a funny stuff story-telling section about baby poop and all the other fun stuff little ones bring on. Thankfully, God cleans all of us up if we allow Him! Hope you'll stop by! http://rachelwojnarowski.wordpress.com

Wow. Good question! I won't pretend to be an authority on the matter by any means, but the story lines of Christian movies are typically great. Just portrayed on low-budgets. I think the acting is just terrible because of the inexperienced actors. Even one of my favorite Christian films has one actor who is horrifically cheesy and I've never watched the movie a second time because he gets on my nerves....anyway...

Here is what I love: "I wonder what it looks like for us to pitch our tents between the two, to have deep communion, yet still have influence on others." I truly believe this is our job as Christians; how it comes alive in each of us is different. But ultimately, it should be our goal. If we isolate ourselves completely, then we have no influence. That statement is what Paul called "being IN the world, but not OF the world." (emphasis mine)

Thank you for provoking thoughts of reaching others and being close to God!
