Yes, iOS version 1.8.0 on my ipad and the Halloween items are still there, only they are in the normal menu, under lights, furniture, etc... as D stated.

I was lucky enough to get it on the very first time I played the game!

I do not think that post is about whinging. It's about stating a state of affairs which is wrong. There is nothing wrong with spending money if you want to/can afford it and similarly you can choose to never spend a penny/dollar/euro/whatever on the game BUT when Beeline decides to take 33% of your resources, they are abusing the players: the ones who pay and the ones who don't. I never buy resources but get them from digging and so on which means I accumulate them slowly. Yet when I started my volcano my thousands of woods/dyes, etc...were depleted in no time at all. That was incredibly unfair and it has nothing to do with whinging or paying real money for the game or not. I never really spend smurberries on the mini games either but today decided to go through all 3 stages of the naughties: I spent 15 smurf berries to end up with a bone! I'm sorry but again, that's wrong! I certainly won't spend smurf berries on the mini games again in a hurry. I once spent 15 smurf berries on lucky smurf to end up with money. Things like that shouldn't happen, full stop. It's not whinging to state that the game should be enjoyable for EVERYONE: those who wish to spend money and those who don't. NOBODY should be penalised for accumulating resources that they might or might not have paid for. You say people should be more patient: I agree totally but in this case being patient got us NOTHING because Beeline took all our resources PATIENTLY accumulated through digging and rafts (I never used the raft cheat once!) and tried to force us to buy more. I build all my wonders with no smurf berries spent either on ressources or to speed up the building so I know all about patience. So taking all my resources for the volcano did NOT make me buy more as Beeline obviously intended but the point is: that's what they were trying to do. It is WRONG in principle. Rant over :)

I am so very annoyed that it's not a set number of ressources anymore and back to that ridiculous percentage. I just started the volcano and it cost me 1000 stones, 600 wood, 400 dye and 1800 stardust! I mean, come on! How fair is that!

Still can't access most of my friend's villages. Will keep trying. Thanks for the reply :)

Is there a problem with the servers atm? Gifting has been really erratic for me the last 3 days: either my friend's list is not loading or I can't get into the villages or I get kicked out. I've only managed to gift about half my friends for 3 days running. Anybody else having this problem?
