I kind of feel like I am looking at a picture of myself from behind with those dropped hips up there :) Thanks for the demos...I am always looking for new hip/glute strengthening exercises to add to my collection! These are good ones!

My hands are all sweaty just from LOOKING at some of those pictures of the things you climbed/hiked/ran. That is seriously scary and I am super impressed that you tackled that!! What an amazing opportunity!!! I can't wait to read more about it!

I have DEFINITELY gone back to a salon to fix my hair color. I tried to get blond highlights a few months before my wedding and ended up with ORANGE hair. You bet I went back and asked them to fix it. It helped some, but about 4 weeks later I ended up going home and getting my mom's girl to fix it. I am SOOOOO lucky that one of Brad's friends from high school is a stylist here in Chicago and does a really good job. I haven't had my hair highlighted in 4 years because of that experience but now that I trust someone, I am going lighter again :)

I love that David says that because I say that about Brad! When he gets snappy over something really silly, I automatically know that the next thing on our agenda is to get him something to eat! haha...his mom says he has been that way since he was an infant! This is a great post...I can't wait to see what great things you have in store!

Congrats on an incredible PR! I knew you were this fast!!! I am super happy for you. It looks like David probably threw down a killer negative split too!!

Just curious...do you think that when David split from you a Mile 9 that it was harder to keep the pace in the 7:5x range like you did for the previous miles? Sometimes just having that person next to you where you just keep up with them can be the biggest motivator! I realized that in my long run Saturday when I fell into step chatting with another guy and then all of a sudden realized I was running WAY faster than I thought I was (and should have been!).

Congrats again!! You worked hard for this and it totally paid off!

haha! This is funny, especially since I JUST commented on one of your other posts (for the first time in a while?) as I am catching up on my reading. I read every one of your posts, but alot of times I am on my phone, so I don't comment. I always intend to come back to them, because most of the time I have something I would like to share or ask, but then I forget!! So at your request, my friend...I am here. Reading. All the time :)

I love this post!! I am super impressed with how much you took away from racing a "practice" race. I never really thought about how much you can take away from a race atmosphere where you don't actually *race*. That might be something for me to think about and identify some places where I can improve when I am racing. Looking forward to seeing all this hard work pay off for you!

I was just telling someone last week, that I am really bad at making decisions, even when it is something as simple as picking a flight time. I sometimes just wish for someone to tell me what to do :) So I can totally relate to your dilemma(s) above. Best of luck!!
