If they believe the placement in inappropriate, they need to start saying WHY they think the placement with Ji and Kelly is inappropriate. Was there an issue with services, social security or other support checks, or her health? Do they believe she was abused? And if not, what is the reasoning for her not to be permitted her rights as a human being and permitted to live as she likes, with whomever she likes?

I am SO glad you survived. Seriously.

I've been teaching sign language to the special ed kindergartens this year, and everybody asked me to please do it again next year- and maybe even add classrooms. I INSTANTLY called my doctor and got everything they would let me get, including the pertussis/tetanus booster. After all, many of those kids are delicate, and either can't have vaccinations or don't have them for other reasons. I don't need to be spreading around anything unnecessarily.

Summer vacation begins for us on Friday afternoon. I expect to gain about 10 pounds this summer, unless the doctor tomorrow puts me on stronger diabetic meds. And I still think you should come for a sleepover with the little dudes. Only I am not hiking four miles, because my knee is dead. ;)

Creative Kidstuff was around with a very narrow selection when Joey was little. I am glad to see they are doing well! They were the talk of the OT office. I'll be sure to spread the word about the website.
