Funny story! We always have a Practice Thanksgiving in our home. We spend Thanksgiving Day with his family and my family, so I like having a special day just for our own little family. Anyway, this year I couldn't do it (had a wisdom tooth yanked in the midst of an already busy week). So I told the fam that we'll just have Second Thanksgiving instead. haha! Great minds...

Sounds like a must read! I get the impression that my kids expect their friends to think exactly like we do, and I certainly don't agree with that. I like the idea of free will friends. (Within reason, of course. I wouldn't want them hanging out with people who are flat out bad influences.) I'll have to check this out!

I never knew about raw ACV for zits! That could really come in handy. We use it on our goats for nearly every ailment they have.
