Burnout sucks.

You can only charge up others if your battery's got its own charge. Being kind to yourself isn't theft from others. Giving to yourself, observing boundaries, these mean that you have a *you* to give.

I'm so excited that you found this and reviewed it! It sounds like a perfect book for the book club for home schooling teens I run. It's hard to find books that will spark discussion in this quiet group.

I've challenged myself to reading "12 in 12" this year. Here's the catch: they have to make me stretch. No fluffy fast reads count. Also not counting: parenting books and other non-fiction books of the type I read (running, triathlons, homeschooling...). I would like 6 of them to be biographies, too.

Right now I'm reading "Mistress of Nothing" by Kate Pullinger. I highly recommend it, particularly as a winner of a Canadian award, and I imagine that it therefore won't be on your radar.

I'll enter for the fun, and enjoy looking at the photo with all the exciting colours in the meantime. Lovely work - not the yarn, the decision to maintain your priorities.
