The thing is, ok, I just got really in to Rush. Bear with me here.

And when people ask me why I say, "I'd *heard* Rush but I never *listened* to it." Usually followed by a you-feel-me? look.

I guess I'm trying to say that Rush is amazing.

Oh god this is my life right now.

Why do WE have to be the reasonable ones? I know my body the best and when I say its fucked, its fucked!

You're a strong woman! I'm sorry for your loss.

I was pretty blindsided by the question but I think I'm prepared if it ever happens again.

This is going to be off-topic but LW2 made me think about it and I just have to share this insanity.

My dad passed away a few years ago. Since its been a while its less on my mind, and less in my words. But every once in a while I mention it. Just last week someone asked me how he died. I told them because I don't like hiding that it was suicide, but then this person asked how he did it! Luckily a friend stepped in saying I didn't need to respond because I was flabbergasted.

All the great advice given to LW2 works in my case, and I promise if I encounter this again I will use it!

I've got to research this now! I never knew other people had these dreams.

I bet it means we're really smart or whatever.

You're right! The familiarity makes the nightmare part less scary in a way. Plus I've written some interesting stories based on some of those dreams.

My vivid nightmare dreams often become reoccurring dreams where my subconscious builds the story and I learn more about my horrible dream space with each new visit.

In the most recent one I dreamed of a serial killer who targets his victims in nightclubs by puking all over them. When they leave to clean themselves up he hacks them to pieces, puts them in garbage bags and disappears.

What I've learned since having this dream a few more times is that he only kills pregnant women and he takes their bodies and feeds them to a monster in the sewers.
