I find that once they become mobile at child age they can be removed using master controllers total annihilation.

If you have master controller from Twallen you can also use that to total annihilation them and it wipes all traces of the doll from the game completely.
The children are all so cute. But I do always tend to favour the evil ones.

A restoration spell seems handy.
