I think you made a great decision! I went back to school to get my teacher's certification just last year and while it's been a rocky road to getting a job and I'm still looking for something permanent, I just know I was meant to be an elementary teacher. I'm always finding postings for art teachers and wish I got my cert for that. I went to Rider in Lawrenceville for their teacher certification program which was awesome and only took a year but can be as quick as two semesters if you go full time. If you want any tips or info about teaching NJ, I'd be happy to help!

Great pants! You look super cute in them, makes me want a pair! I agree about the weather; there are these breaks of sunshine but for most of the day it's depressingly dark. The worst is getting up to go to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. But I'm going to take some cues from you and pick some pretty colors to brighten my outfits and mood :)

I'm so jealous of your Christmas houses and that you found them at HomeGoods! I probably missed them when I was avoiding some of the crazy ladies buying the four foot tall Santas ;-) Hope you had a great holiday!

Gorgeous Christmas decorations! I am trying to collect more vintage decorations too, my mom gave me a few feather angels with paper mache heads fro the 50s which I love having up. Again very cute decorations!
