:) no argument here. Unfortunately a lot (probably most) scriptures get taken out of context and manipulated to suit opinions. I think it's called cognitive bias :D People seek out information or read it in such as way that it suits their beliefs. Doesn't make their opinion line up with scripture though :(

Hi Ellie, I know exactly what you mean. I think we all have a tendency to do that. But what popped into my mind when reading your blog post was Matthew 6:34 "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." Much easier said than done I know. But I'm going to give a go :) thanks for your post, it's a reminder for me too.

The old dream of traditional publishing and million dollar book deals are not really on the radar for me. I write because I love it, and I want people to read and enjoy my stories. Mind you, I wouldn't knock back the money, or the traditional publishing.

Great post Ellie, I didn't realise there were any such thing. I generally delete emails from Facebook and Linkedin as soon as I get them without even reading them. The next one that comes along I'll have a read and see how it works. Thanks.
