The concept of helping a haunted doll definitely sounds interesting and makes you want to know more! And yepp, I'm not a horror reader myself, but sorry that you didn't love this and it's not what you're expecting, though :)

Oh, I've actually never watched this one because I once borrow the book from my hardcore-fans friend, and hell I didn't understand it at all 0-0 ahaha
But everyone seems to be raving about this, so maybe I'll try this later. Been hearing much about the nudity issue though ;p

Definitely #2 and #5 for me!
I'm a massive cover-judger (sorry not sorry) and yep, I've definitely been fooled by it countless time. Still, I'm still hooked whenever a book had a pretty cover -_-
And yeah, if I had previously read and love an author's work, I would read blindly whatever they wrote next. Throw me a historical non-fic about some backwater island int eh middle of nowhere, I would probably still try it XD

Interesting topic, Citra!

It's probably because I read City of Bones, and I was just soo captured by it, I devour the whole series at once. After finishing it, I feel kinda empty and want to read another book. Before I know it, I'm already addicted to reading :D

Definitely agree about the insta love, particularly with Shade! I don't really get what's so great about the guy that made Nyx fall for him, anyway -_- And ooh, how I love the characterization and the castle's description here, too :D
Anyway, great review!

Definitely agree with you! My reading genre was soo limited back when I was not book blogging (In fact, I don't really like reading that time) But blogging introduce me to some genres I've never read (And turned out, love) before!
And yep, it's definitely fun to know other book-lovers!

Ooh, totally agree with this! I sometimes stumble upon some book blog with great and fun content but written in neon. I usually exit after one post and never come back ._.
And the music things is too true!

Love your blog by the way! Love the simple layout and the soft color on the sub-header :)

(Are you by the way, Indonesian? Juuust curious :D)

Aww, sad to hear that the character in this book was hard to connect to :(
I also always enjoyed a book more if I had a connection with the character, but I think I'll still try this one someday, because as you said, the premise sounds great!

Nice review! Thanks for sharing :)
