I adore your blog and check it every day! This post made me sad. You seem like such a strong, confident, amazing woman and you don't deserve to feel so alone. The other amazing people who have posted so far made so many great points. Don't "diet", restricting yourself will just make u want to break the rules! Eating well should be a way of life. Don't deprive yourself too much cuz you'll just want to binge later (and sometimes we eat half a bowl of cookie dough at 3am...thats ok too...we don't make habits of those things though!) And small, frequent meals are a winner! Also, exercise should be FUN! You've said you like hiking, do more of that! Or find small ways to be more active (park your car further away, or take your pup for longer walks), or if your feeling brave try out a Groupon for some exercise classes near you (that got me into yoga! you get to try new things for a few classes...and bonus if u can get a friend/family member to join u).
I know 99.9% of the time when I look in the mirror I am displeased/pissed off at a lot of what I see. I just try to focus on the one good thing i can find! Good hair day? Good make up day? Jeans make your ass look good? I can finally breathe out of both nostrils? sometimes u gotta focus on the the little things for a moment. But don't forget the big picture...you've already lost an entire person's amount of weight, you've got a ton of loyal readers/fans/cheerleaders, and you are pretty much an amazing person. GO YOU!!!! YOU ROCK!!
(pardon my ramblings!)

You are too funny! The whole "running/walking/hatred loop" sums up my weekly workout. I almost wet myself laughing. Try jogging to one song, then walking for a song. It breaks up the routine, and makes it seem a little quicker (as long as you don't have to run to 'Free Bird' or something equally long). Good luck!! And congrats on your 1 year!!! Im completely hooked on your blog. (your bakecation was the saddest week of my life). just saying. :)
