It is a Specialized! It is so comfy. I had no idea how much discomfort I was putting up with until I got this one (looking at you, cute but uncomfortable Bern commuter helmet).

Wow, you are taking me back! I began bicycling in the 1980s when cycling clothes for women were apparently not invented yet (it was before the internet so I only had my town's sole bike store to judge by). Fortunately for me, my body type was basically skinny Italian guy, so I could get by. I remember how weird it was to see cycling clothes for women for the first time. This year I bought a helmet that is specifically designed to work with a ponytail. I believe my exact words were, "Phhht, this is such a marketing gimmick OH MY GOD THAT'S COMFORTABLE!"

HOLY CRAP did she try it for the first time at Disney World? That's amazingly gutsy! I freaked out a bit when I realized that my planning mistakes meant that I was going to be at Pearson for my second cycle with my cup [my flow is heavy enough that I have to empty it every 1-2 hours on the first day, so yay for the family bathrooms at Pearson!].

Ugh, my biggest pet peeve of 2015 is when someone mansplains something that 30 seconds of Googling will show is clearly wrong. How overconfident do you have to be to type a comment without spending one minute checking to see if you are correct first? Some people are so insanely confident they will base their entire careers on a premise that 30 seconds of Googling will show is wrong: "Men need more sex than women" so decriminalise UK sex trade, academic says". That level of confidence BLOWS MY MIND.

God it must be nice to believe in your own opinion that strongly. Look it up? Nope! Facts? Nope!

I once woke up in the middle of the night with something moving in my ear, and when I knocked it out it was an earwig! Cliché, right? Does anyone else remember that time in the 90s when Southern Ontario was like 50% earwigs by weight? They were in everything. I used to have to clear them out from under my bike seat before going to work. Ugh.

Smart move! I once lived in a apartment that had a pigeon nesting in the transom window over the balcony door, which was all very cute and naturey until it got cold outside. When our heat came on, all these little black dots started spreading out across the kitchen ceiling like a film about a galaxy exploding but with the colors reversed. That's how I learned that pigeons all carry pigeon lice and you need to burn that shit before it decides to come inside. Ugh, pigeons. Do not approach!

Thanks for this recipe! I made it last night and it turned out perfectly. It's a good thing the recipe makes so much because I took it to a grill-out and they disappeared FAST. I will definitely be making these again!

That is absolutely how Canadians from Southern Ontario say "pasta". How does the rest of the world say it?

Yes that is it! But I think that is a still from The River.
