Wait, there's a Slack group?

Wait that's actually one of the cutest things I've ever heard. My mom was very much Team Naked (minus the tattoos) and I'm pretty sure that's where I inherited my complete lack of shame about my body from.

I've got a super rad pair of jeans from the 80s that I wear and this ends up being me a lot for above listed reasons, but I see your point. Mostly I hate wearing bras and shirts because they're SO CONFINING but I don't have strong opinions about pants.

Full disclosure: I'm very much a pinup fan/dabbler so I am quite sure that much of my behavior is influenced by these very shots.

Okay but surely I'm not the only one who frequently wanders about doing household tasks topless, right? Like when you take your bra off in the living room and you were wearing a sweater and you COULD get up and find another shirt, or you could just not do that because you're lazy and being topless is actually kinda fun? Or you get out of the shower and have an urgent email so you sit down to respond in just your towel and it slips so you end up responding to the email but also sitting there for another hour putzing around on Tumblr?

No? Just me? Alright then...

If you're not spiking your afternoon sweet tea while you sip it delicately from the porch swing overlooking your Vast Property, you're not doing it right imo.

But real talk vodka sweet-tea is my jam this line was clearly made for me.

I jumped the gun and did most of Scorpio in March, which makes me a bit nervous because now I'm wondering if I should reconsider the life plan I made last month and start re-examining all my options. I haven't committed to anything tho so maybe this just means I should start talking through the consequences of my preliminary decision?

This is not me (thank God) but if I had a dollar for all the friends I have who go on and on about having no friends when they CONSTANTLY AND REPEATEDLY IGNORE OR REJECT MY INVITATIONS TO SOCIALIZE EITHER ALONE OR IN GROUPS in favor of binge-watching Netflix I'd probably be able to buy at least one very fancy dinner for myself.

ETA: I should clarify that I'm lonely because I'm on the extreme end of extroversion, which means that pretty much any time I'm around people who aren't ACTIVELY SOCIALIZING WITH ME (including people who live with me) I get my feelings hurt even though intellectually I know they just want some time to themselves and it is not, in fact, a deliberate attack on my character that they don't want to talk for four hours.

Can someone confirm or deny that the Hairpin is still a functioning entity generating new content? Or is it just posting old stuff forever?

Keeping horses at home is the biggest trap of all time. We were like "OH IT'LL BE GREAT" (and it totally was, in that I didn't have to deal with stalls because they all just had a huge field to hang out in) but then I got older and it was My Job to get up at 5am EVERY DAY NO MATTER WHAT and feed them and it was My Job to be around at 7pm EVERY DAY NO MATTER WHAT to feed them and basically working for someone who kept horses in her back yard ruined my social life all through high school.*

I haven't quit smoking yet because my dental hygienist consistently comments on my great teeth and also because I think it Looks Cool. Also my dream career involves me working for the IRS which means I am 100% Team Establishment.

I don't even pretend I'm cool or principled enough to have been burned as a witch. I'd have been one of the townspeople who was like "My husband says this is a thing that's happening. I have no opinions on this thing that's happening, but those girls are probably dirt bags," which is arguably worse than arguing passionately in favor of witch-burning because powerful women are frightening.
