I think it looks interesting. It may not turn out to be the best ever fixed-lens large-sensor compact, but this is just the first in a line (I hope), and it's good to see Nikon doing something like this.

Viewfinder price is a bit crazy ...

I think Google should be careful about the amount of services/applications they provide. Recently read an article about Microsoft Hohm being discontinued. Tragic, both because of its discontinuation and because I, like many of those who commented on the article, had never heard of it.
(Google recently announced that they would retire a similar service, but cited some other reasons for it.)

I might start using it as soon as they make it (invites, open sign-up) available again. I recently signed up for Picasa, some time before Google+ was unveiled, and intended to use it for photo-sharing. The two services are connected, of course (and, for Google+ users, they've raised the maximum resolution for free, no-limit storage from 800x800 to 2048x2048), so I guess it can't hurt to share photos on both services at the same time.
Now, if I can only recover that old bunch of photos that have suddenly disappeared ...
