Hello darling Amy <3 I've been doing pretty great - counting the months down until my exciting trip across the pond, still thinking about The Raven King all the time, making reading lists in my head, enjoying the arrival of spring, trying to be in the world and be okay. How about you?

"I also watched the first season of the Bletchley Circle and everyone was right, what a great show." YAY :D

Begin Again sounds like my kind of thing. I'll have to look for it.

I was listening to Sufjan's version of this song just a few minutes ago and thinking very similar thoughts to this. Hugs and Merry Christmas, Amy <3

Aw, I love this post. And you <3 I got severe Twitter annoyance during the World Cup, but it was almost always because of tweets that set up a false dichotomy between book people and sports people. I mean really? I've never been more than a casual sports fan myself, but I always appreciate the passion people bring into things, and your post captures that so well.

"One of the weird jarring things about adulthood friendships is how hard you have to work at common ground." OMG I know. It's always so hard to find people who are into my things, or like really into them at the same time as me.
