Ah, I love The Dresden Files and especially Jame Marsters narrating the audiobooks! I really must get back into Ben Aaronovitch's books too, they're always a great read. :)

I don't have any children, but I live in a rural area in Wales where we basically have a choice of home birth (slightly scary in the event of anything going wrong!) or a hospital birth. Our local hospital can only handle basic births, so if you've had any issues during pregnancy you have to go to the big hospital over the border in England... this is nearly an hours journey away on country roads... and they're considering moving the maternity unit to a hospital which is even further away. :-/

I've yet to read Rachel Caine's novels, but I really should give them a go. Maybe the 1st one of this series?
