In the meantime, Remington will be investing 20 million in the Ilion site, and they'e won an 80 million dollar government contract to produce 5000+ sniper rifles there.

Has anyone looked into this woman's past? Was she one of "those" girls in high school who bullied others for the fun of it?

We didn't do Christmas but our neighbor did. Patti and I were best friends. One year her uncle dressed up as Santa and got to our house early (we lived upstairs from the family's real estate office). He climbed up the inside access ladder to the roof and stomped around for a bit till the noise woke us all up.

We put on robes and went into the hall to find him climbing back down the ladder ho ho hoing and carrying two pillow cases full of toys. Patti's parent had talked Mommy Dearest into letting them do this for us. Patti and I had the best day ever.

This is definitely a no brainer. My partner and I are long time supporters of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and one year she will be able to take off the week of X-mas and we'll spend it there.

The atmosphere, the docents in costume (the whole town in period dress) will make it seem like we are in the middle of a Dicken's novel.

I'm reading Devilishly Wicked by Kathy Love. I have the whole series to date and it's very funny.

I've read all of Roxie's Barefoot books to date and would love to own them for myself.

We lost my sister in law Elaine just after her 40th. birthday to cancer. Since then none of us have had the heart to actually host a party.

She was the one that organized the Halloween Blast every year at their house. Costumes were judged, good food and drink were enjoyed, and you always met new and interesting people. She was a gym/health teacher in a high school. She was also a coach for city gymnastics events. They've even named one in her honor.

So sadly the family no longer does anything other then hand out candy and enjoy the costumes on the little children who ring the doorbell.

I like digging out my Halloween Town dvd's and watching them. I just don't have the energy any more to attend the parade in the city, or even go to parties.

I grew up in the 50's and 60's. It was an interesting time. Father Knows Best, The Life of Riley, and other family shows showing what the writers thought to be "Real America". No one I know took it seriously. Hell, I can't remember most of the 60's into the 70's. A mystery in that era would also be fairly simple. No hi-tech gadgets, no DNA testing. The cops really had to investigate and pray they were right.
