The Republican Party: Keeping it Classy

Another example why FoxNews is quickly becoming a career destroyer for the Republican party rising stars.. Not too worry. I am sure Roger Ailes is now considering offering Carson a part-time gig on Fox News as an expert- (in the same way Sarah Palin was supposed to be an expert.)

Austerity and balancing the budget was what Herbert Hoover tried to do and made the Depression so much worse. These are policies that don't work in Europe and didn't work in the US back in the 30s. The fact that the Republicans want to try them again shows how hollow their economic programs really are and how little regard they have for the poor and middle class.

As to your point of GoT and copyright, downloading and sales. One thing that so many in the film and television industry choose to ignore is that for shows with an ongoing storyline, downloading may be a fine way to hook random viewers into becoming fans. A lot of people who come into the middle of a series may not be so eager to put down a lot of money to learn about the earlier shows they missed.

Actually, I think this information about pressurized water injected beneath the Earth causing earthquakes has been around quite some time. I recall reading about it in the 1980s, although it could have been more of a theory at that time.
The fact that the dangers were known over twenty years ago and yet the industry and its army of lobbyist were able to push legislation over the safety of local residents says a lot of about how weak and ineffectual the government has become. And the Republicans want less regulation??

You might find this article interesting. It's about a Shale Oil company called Genie and some familiar faces.

At the same time they are spending tons of money trying to restrict marriage when it is between two men, they are also spending tons of money trying to make marriage (ONLY between a man and a woman) the main solution to poverty. If marriage is the answer (and it is NOT) then why not support all marriages?

There you have the clear evidence that the Republican Party is Anti-Christian.

This list demonstrates the lack of new thinking from conservatives. It's like they have learned nothing from the shattering losses in 2012. Hell, Boehner and others have actually chided Obama, saying that "he acts like he won the election." Say what??

Denial is a powerful handicap to resorting priorities and looking over the list tells me the GOP is planning on pursuing the same failed strategies as they have since Bush.

Another reason why ACORN was targeted was because of its successful Living Wage Campaign. Nothing brings out the knives like a fair wage for a honest day's labor.
