Dissertation bad days are the worst. Ive been having a dissertation bad year. :-/ So much empathy. And losing a friend ... such a gut blow.

I am lying down in a random Quality Inn room, bracing myself before facing a purgatorial international flight back with an ex who broke my heart with his emotional abuse and his awfulness, and whom I just broke up with, and NIKKI *YOU* ARE THE ONE MAKING ME WEEP BUCKETS ALONE. Dr. Ppyajunebug (!!!YAY congrats again!!!!), Im so sorry I havent joined toastieslack yet, although you sent me TWO invites. Life has been the absolute worst recently, and Ive been barely keeping it together. The Toast is ending at the worst time, basically, and man, I've been in ostrich mode pretending it's not gonna go away. I think once it's actually gone I will head over to Slack :(
