I really like how Anna Priemaza's touch on subjects that not a lot of other YA books look at especially in terms of gaming culture!

I do agree, it did take a bit of time to get into the story, but I felt that it was a nice build up to the action :)

Zorie's father was definitely pretty terrible, but good to have some variety in parents as well I guess! Can't have them all be really nice and supportive haha

Yep it definitely reads like historical fiction. I can't remember exactly when it's set (and my US history is awful, so I can't even guess haha).

True, the text bubbles do have a bit more significance! But I still feel like it doesn't look too interesting at first glance haha. I generally rate the covers before I read or review the book because it's the first thing I set up in the review template :P
