One can never go wrong by bringing religion back into places where it should never have left. People should be ashamed of themselves, allowing the government and school systems to run without religion being the rock upon which they rest.
It is one of the saddest cases I had ever ran across. And the sickest. I haven't looked for updates to this case, but I will try to do that. If you are on facebook, you're welcome to join my group Justice: Missing or Murdered. I should change the name to include child abuse in there some way. I may do that when I have time! Thanks so much for posting on this. It really is just unbelievable. If you ever get a chance, maybe you can look for updates on this case too and post them.
Thanks for writing,
Nancy
If you want to get involved, you've got to get "out" there. Start voicing very LOUDLY your opinion against child abuse. Try my group on Facebook, Justice: Missing and Murdered. Also check out "The Hinky Meter" Val is awesome, and she takes on some of the toughest cases and says it like it is. I'll look for you on Facebook. My name on there is Nancy Bishop- Nancye1962@yahoo.com.
Thanks for caring.
Nancy
Is there a reason that I should do that? Has something new happened?
Amen Lili. This was one of the sickest cases I had ever heard of.
Oh good! That's even better! Thank you!!
Thanks so much. I remember seeing some of these 'fences on wheels' somewhere before, years ago. It just seems like an appropriate measure to take for the wall of hope, because none of us know how permanent this wall will need to be. With God's grace, it won't NEED to be permanent. By using something mobile like that, it can be moved, or expanded, as need be. A central location like an area normally used for a temporary public gathering would be ideal- flea market space, car shows, maybe an area where a small fair is set up, etc. These types of areas would have good parking availability, could be monitored to a degree, and moved or repositioned as need be. Thanks so much for forwarding it on to Kyron's website for me. I didn't realize there was a link for the Kyron site to email to; I went to the site and viewed it, but, of course, I don't have any helpful information pertaining to the case, so I guess I just overlooked the contact link on there. I would like to wish them well, and tell them they are in my prayers, but I don't want to send emails to what is probably a completely overcrowded inbox already. I am sure that whomever is watching their emails, etc, is looking mainly for leads or information that will help bring Kyron home safely. But I thank you for doing it, I just don't want to add to it. Hopefully, they will spot your email and answer. Thanks so much again,
Nancy
Yes- that is exactly the type of place I was talking about. A public gathering area, etc. What about courthouses, libraries, etc in the area? Are there any of those? What you are mentioning is an excellent idea though. I am not from the area; is there someone that that suggestion could be brought up to that might be able to open the idea up to Kaine, and the organizers of the Wall of Hope?
Is there a local super Walmart close by? Or a large grocery store with a big parking lot? There are fences that have wheels on the bottom of them, perhaps a mobile fence like that could be set up (with permission of course) at the edge of the parking lot of a place like that. Isn't this on a school fence now?
Another thought, perhaps the fence along a local football stadium, etc.
