Such a wonderful faith story to share. Praise God for providing the right house in his timing. Isn't it funny that we dangle from our fingernails when the Lord has his arms securely around us? Thanks for sharing, friend.

what a blessing
your sweet grandmother must be

i too
was raised 'in the church'
by a pastor dad and devout mum

and whilst sometimes
their constraints felt a little tight
i am now so thankful
that they loved me enough to train me up
the way they did

thankful for that legacy

visiting you from the SITS page
and hope you have a great day!

i read this post a few days ago
and never commented
but felt that i should return to tell you that

i wholeheartedly embrace you for writing
such a truth-filled
compassionate post
about such a difficult issue

we are all born into sin
we have all dealt with sexual temptation
in some form

and any sexual act
which falls outside the bounds
of biblical marriage
between a man and a woman
is sin

as Jesus' church
we have historically failed
an entire segment of the population
by our vitriolic words and actions

forgetting that we ourselves
were once dead in our iniquities
and only forgiven
accepted
by the blood of the Lamb
by His mercy
by His love

so thank you
for putting words to my own thoughts
and being courageous enough
to share them.

and their sanity

as a fellow homeschooler
i appreciated her tips and stories

thanks for linking up such and inspiring story

so sorry to hear this news...as hard as it is, God's power is often displayed in our times of weakness and heartache...praying for your family as you walk through the valley of the shadow.

you are so dead right in this post...the best fellowship times in our home have been casual, spur of the moment parties when i didn't have time to worry over spotlessly cleaning my home to impress...thanks for the reminder and for linking it up to fridays unfolded...heading over to check out the 10 commandments now...

as a homeschool mum i am appalled that any parent would be 'too busy' to spend time helping her child learn...my bestie is a public school teacher and she can relate first hand that her best students are not necessarily the smartest pupils, but the ones who get support, time and help from their parents at home...we are all busy and it just comes down to prioritizing...i cannot believe that letter won a contest...good for you in firing off a written response to the publisher.
