I cannot tell you how much I can relate to this. I am such a perfectionist/OCD-ist. I scrap the story before it's even completely conceived. And then, there's the badmouthing myself. "No one will ever actually like my idea. Who would ever even buy this, anyway?" I do it with my words. And with my art. And people say again and again, they love it. So. What is stopping me? Me. My own self. My insecurities. I cheer you on, my friend! If anyone is the next published, it will be you. Not because anyone can do it. But because you waited until you wanted to. And it will be brilliant. Like all of your writing is. <3

I so love alliteration. No. Really. I do! So, about the threes. No one could have prepared my for the trauma and drama that would ensue. I hate to be "that" person. But...when they're 10.5, they're also super-fun. Just so you know. PS, thanks for hooking up this week. ;-)

Well. Said. You are SO cute in that cow picture. Conversely, cows are mad. All of them. Speaking of cows, I "communicated" with a parent who almost ran over my husband and daughter at school last week and now (apparently) I "threatened" her. So. Yes. I suppose I'm evil too. Evil enough to speak up and call bullshit when people don't follow the rules. Or whatever. That made no sense, did it... rhetorical. But at the end of the day when I'm loathing myself for not being the perfect parent, MY children aren't acting like complete assholes in public.

Awesome job, Jenn! One of the biggest motivators in learning to read is choice. Turns out you don't really need me to finish that post I didn't finish after all. Pheeew. Now I can cross that one off. Check out some videos on youtube about shared reading. Congratulations! Once again, this proves that teachers are born, not made. ;-)

You know what I would love? 15 more children! lmao! Kidding. I would love it if someone would remind me on a regular basis to sit down and put my feet up. That and a few minutes of quiet to read that book I started 2 years ago.
