ohhhh, I love patchwork so, so much. I'm working on a queen size quilt right now (or I'm just in the beginning stages of it). I can't say I remember that book but it does involve two of my favourite things. I'll have to hunt it down next time I'm at the library.

That is a fine find indeed! Needlework portraits always make my heart go pitter-patter. They almost get my heart going as fast as a hand stitched quilt. Those two things always stop me in my tracks and I take a moment to pet them. Seriously, I do that. And I always get caught by some weirdo.

This post is some serious food for thought. I know I'm a very judgmental person and that I miss out on a lot because of it too. The other day I was thinking about what a picky eater I am. I used to think it was a cute quirk about me that people get used to. Now that I have a toddler and see the situation from the outside I realize what a pain in the ass I am. Oh gosh, there are so many things that have me waving my judge gavel around like a lunatic, but I think I'll stop here. You're not alone my friend. Be brave and bash those preconceived notions in the nose.
